Websites

As part of my 3rd year projects, I created this website to show the various projects my group submitted.
This is a website I created for a short term rental property.
This is the website I built for the company Mantrain Solutions. In addition to the website, I also created the logo for this company.
As part of my honours research project at the University of Pretoria. I built this system to gather data on the effectiveness of social elements of gamification on the learning of times tables. This system allows users to register and practice times table tests. It tracks their speed and accuracy showing users graphs of how they're doing over time. They can unlock badges for various achievements as well as add friends to compete against.
As part of the IMY 220 module at the University of Pretoria, I created the website Sharograph. Sharograph is an image sharing application that allows you to store and view your images online, as well as share them with your friends, post comments and search for images.

Media

Calm is a short horror film created as part of the Bachelor of Information Science in Multimedia degree. I was part of the group who created this film. I composed, edited and recorded all of the music used in this film.
As part of the VIO 202 (Visual Design) module at the University of Pretoria, I created this website which shows the three main projects for this module that I created over the year, including: an interactive animated story, a music lyric video and an interactive educational site about myths.

Apps

Practice Tables
Practice simple times tables
Daelin Campleman

Free

Practice Tables is an iPad app I created when I was tutoring primary school mathematics. It allowed students to just practice their times tables using randomly generated questions.
Lightning Distance
How far away is lightning
Daelin Campleman

Free

Calculate the distance from your current location to a lightning strike. By counting the amount of time between seeing the flash of lighting and hearing the thunder, we can estimate the distance away. This is very useful if you want to know how close a storm is, whether it is moving away or coming closer.
Memory Grid Game
Text your memory!
Daelin Campleman

Free

The memory grid game tests your memory by showing a grid of squares. You'll have 2 seconds to remember which of the squares are green and then tap those squares. As you submit more correct answers, the number of squares increases. Get as many as you can correct in a row and see how many levels you can get to.
Tell Me A Joke
Have a laugh...
Daelin Campleman

Free

This app uses a RestAPI to retrieve jokes at random and display them on the screen. You have the option to customise categories of jokes as well as the language of the joke.
